2nd off: I had such a nice time putting this quilt together. I had surgery on Monday, and my mom was in town helping me get better. So nice to get to spend some quality time with her. My mom and stepdad (aka papa) came into town on Friday, and this is the primary project that we worked on.

I got really lucky and bought these moda prints a year ago on major sale…and of course just now got the top pieced together. Pattern is the Charming Log Cabin pattern from Threaded Pear. Scalloped edges won’t be done until the actual quilting is done. I think it’s going to be the perfect finishing touch.

Thanks for all your help, mom. I miss you already!
